History of Dodge Trucks

The company introduced the first-generation Ram trucks in 1980 with the standard 6.5 feet and 8 feet bed lengths. The second-generation Ram trucks were introduced from 1994 to 2002. Moreover, the company made significant changes, updating frames, interior, powertrains, and sheet metal. FCA US LLC introduced the Dodge or Ram pickup trucks in 2010.

From 2009 up to the present, the company further developed the Ram, adding the fifth generation lineup in 2019. But the company only offered seven trim levels, instead of 11. They have plans of adding an option for a Trailer Reverse Steering control as parcel of the Trailer-Tow feature package.
